Corn Pie

Everyone loves corn, try our Corn Pie recipe today, and remember to share some with your friends and family.


4 oz butter
1/2 cup chopped onions
3/4 bell peppers chopped
1 cup evaporated or whole milk
11/2 cup fine cornmeal
1 cup canned corn (drained)
1 1/2 cups creamed corn
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 egg
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Add milk and bring to a boil.

Add cornmeal a little at a time and stir after each addition.

Stir in corn and creamed corn.

Add salt and black.pepper and stir to combine.

Add one egg beaten a little at a time and stir vigorously.

Add cheese and mix in.

Pour into a greased baking dish and bake in preheated oven at 350 °F for 30 -35 mins.

Allow to cool before serving.
