1 medium breadfruit boiled, cooled and mashed
8 ozs dried fast acting yeast dissolved in 100 ml warm low-fat milk
1 tsp salt
1 oz margarine or 2 tbsp coconut oil
1 1/2 cup flour or gluten-free flour
1 can Tomato Sauce or pizza sauce of your choice
1 ripe diced tomatoes
½ tsp red
1 clove crushed garlic
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp maple syrup

Topping
Shredded vegetarian cheddar cheese
Sweet pepper slices
Red onion slices
4 0z ham chopped
1 tin pineapple chunks
6 ozs grated cheese
Chopped fresh herbs

Method

Add mash breadfruit to a bowl, then pour in the yeast and milk it was dissolved in, margarine and a sprinkle of salt and mix together with a wooden spoon until smooth.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Add flour, one tablespoon at a time until the dough is not too sticky and desired consistency.

Cover the bowl and allow the dough to rise for an hour.

While the dough is rising, prepare the tomato sauce by adding diced tomatoes, red sweet pepper, oregano, garlic, and maple syrup together in a blender and pulsing until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.

Prepare topping ingredients and preheat oven to 450F.

Divide dough into two and roll out pizza bases on parchment paper, top with tomato sauce, cheese, peppers, onions, ham and fresh herbs. Place them onto baking trays.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes. Slice and serve. garnish with granishs of your choice
