The Barbados tour above looks fun, I have a question, is there a hotel in the airport at Barbados? Does anyone know where the closest hotel or bed and breakfast is? Trying to avoid high taxi rates into Bridgetown and back.

No hotels at the airport but maybe some nearby and guest houses.

Not too far from the airport is the south coast and there you can find lots of hotels, I know you're trying to avoid taxi fares so then you can consider the bus only $3.50 local or US$1.75.

What I love about Barbados it has friendly and non-threatening people. Lovely beaches and ocean, shame about the seaweed at the end of the stay - nothing you can do about nature, even though the weather was unsettled, it still gave us warmth and a fair measure of sun. I have to mention it was expensive eating out but worth it, Oistins was excellent. Love it there.
